Embossed panel and a stamped decoupage image

Saturday, 14 May 2011

Oh heck have found a way to post so here goes. Will put some more on later.
Double twisted easel made from a piece of 12x12 kraft card, and 12x12 paper and toppers. The flowers are papermania stemed 79p a pack.
Twisted easel a bit different. Used tulip paper and a tatty bear topper.
Dotty embossing folder freebie on the front of the magazine. Used this to emboss a panel then stamped the shelf and put a piece of mirri in to make the mirror. The bath is a decoupage from the stepper card pack.
Stepper card use silicone glue to shape the decoupage. Looks better than foam pads.
Gate fold with double flappy bit using tatty bear papers and toppers from the ultimite decoupage pack.

May 14th

Demo at the range Bournemouth
This card used the 5x7 embossing folder the tatty bear is stamped and coloured using stitched in time dye ink and basic whisper brushstroke pens.

Simple but effective all the bits are from the
A4 ultimate decoupage pack.
Except the message in the left hand corner
and this comes from the male sentiment pack
that comes in the goody bag.

The edge of the "best friend" embossed border
is done using the
dye based inks and a make up sponge.
The decoupage is part of a stack
the other was used in a card I made last week
and didn't take a photo of.
I edged Oliver with my whispers pen just to make it pop.

A4 ultimate decoupage
one of my favorite pieces from this loop.
The edges are done using the
new dye based ink pads pk of 20 £12.99
direct to the paper.
They are really juicy so give a
sharper finish than chalk inks.

Midnight fairytale topper a bit of
left over Christmas ribbon and a scored
piece of card
This is simple but effective.

I finished this one off with some
purple gems using the score lines
as a guide.

Can we do an easel in the middle of the card?
Well I think the answer to that is yes.
Pampered pets papers
from the free pack on the front of the magazine
a piece of striped from the ultimate A4 decoupage
as I had miss laid my pampered paper 6x6
finished of with a piece of V&A ribbon.
The get well message
was from one of the element packs in the goody bag

50p for a sheet of toppers or BOGOF in most stores
A6 midnight fairytale paper
and some lemon sorbet ribbon from last loops goody bag
The dew drop gems were in a goody bag last year
but can be bought in store.

Vellum is lovely this would have worked
so much better if I had taken my border system.

%th March

What another lovely day on IOW it was great to see you all.
As many of you know I only arrived back from my holiday the day before the demo so I would like to thank my daughter for making me a couple of sample cards.
Stacey loves to scrapbook but I am hoping to convert her to cards.

The next couple of cards are some of my favorite.
I did the decoration on what would be the inside of the card and then put my message on what would be the outside hope this makes sense.
I used the stamp from the retro postage range to decorate the envelope.

A new take on the easel card and a great way of using the tall cat.
The little flowers are still in stores at BOGOF £1.99.
I would snap then up as they give a lovely finish to your cards.
