PETROLHEAD

This is my boys We went on holiday to Crete and the boys had ago at being Lewis Hamilton. I think that Oliver was a bit shocked in the bottom left picture.

HINTS AND TIPS

To make your DST repositionable run a glue stick over the tape.
Become a follower so you are the first to know whats going on
If you have problems lining up your mat and layers put your DST on to the card remove the backing strip and runa glue stick over the DST this will allow you to lift the cards if it's not straight.
Shaker cards look great and are easy to make.To stop the bits sticking sprinkle a little talc wipe out with a tissue. this stops the bits sticking to the acetate and the foam tape.
Flowers cut from paper can look very pretty, but a bit flat. Stick to your project with a foam pad. When the card is finished cover the flower with Anita's 3D gloss. Use the bottle to spread the gloss and remember do not shake the bottle or you will get bubbles.Leave to dry and the flowers will gently curl up giving a more natural finish.
I love those gems that you have to stick yourself they are such great value, but they are a pain to stick so take a little bit of Anita's 3D gloss and with a cocktail stick place a bit on the project. While the stick is still tacky pick up the gem dome side up and place in position. The gloss drys clear so you can't see how you have glued it.
To make fake wood for your DIY cards save the left over masking tape and stick mit to a piece of card.When you have enough using you liquid chalks and pigment ins rub over the surface of the tape. Heat set any pigment inks you may use with a blast from your heat gun. Use a little black to high light the edges of the masking tape as this makes it look more realistic.
To make it easier to align your outline stickers cover the required sticker with stick it masking tape. Rub down with an embossing tool or a rub on tool. Lift the tape gently if the sticker doesn't lift use your knife to help it along. Position the masking tape on your project and gently rub with your finger. Lift off the tape slowly.
