Shes there somewhere

So the fist loop of the year draws to an end hasn't it flown by fast. this is the last sample and it's from the chronology range.
This is a 6x6 card and I used the technique I used in previous scrapbook pages over stamping the edges of the card. I then stamped the love from the vintage notes stamp set cut it and mounted it on foam pads.
The clock was cut from the 8x8 paper pack and the centre removed to put in a picture. I finished it off with a bit of metal wear and some bakers twine.

I am sure my Chronology will find it;s way into my Gorguss new stuff.
A sneaky peek of a couple of samples tomorrow.
See you then

Heart warmers

This card uses heart warmers sentiments which I cut up and put on the card as 2 separate elements. I then made a couple of flowers and handmade gem florishes.

A bit of distressing of the paper with my scissors. Which reminds me of a tip I heard use a sewing stitch unpicker to distress the edges of you card or paper safer than the other options.

Up up and away

Love these buid a scene dies There is so much you can do with them.
Here I used the largest balloon and cut it in left over bits of spots and strips with a piece of textured card stock for the balloon itself.
The message on the balloon was from the vintage notes papers. There are 2 sheets of sentiments which can be chopped up.

I did cut the sand bags for the balloon basket but must admit I lost them they were so small.

16 ANSON ROAD
FRATTON INDUSTRIAL ESTATE
PORTSMOUTH
HAMPSHIRE

Has to be one of my favorite places to go Sally holds a lot of Docrafts stock and the prices are cheaper than other places.
She now has a webpage so you can buy online worth a quick I think

This is that layout agaaaaaaain!!
I mixed the spots and stripes and vintage notes again and this time added floating hearts and a decoupage heart.
I have finished all my demos for this loop now and I must say I used nearly all my vintage notes.
I think I will be using spots and strips with the new bits that came through the door on Thursday.
I sneek peek coming up I think.

Cards or scrapbooking?

So today is my birthday and I will be quite old.
So to celebrate I am going to give away  a goody bag of crafty yummyness.
I will put a picture up later but leave a comment on this post.
The draw will close on 23rd February

I have been asked to do a demo in April showing how you can use card making products in scrapbooking and scrapbooking products on cards.
If you are a card maker you don't need to go out and buy tons of new stuff a pack of 12 x 12 card stock and a scrapbook is enough to get started. Remember if you hate giving away all your lovely bits this is a way of keeping them.

So I used my fav layout Vintage notes papers ribbon and hearts.
I punched the edge of the papers and die cut hearts to make the flower.
I will be doing quite a few more of these over the next couple of months and will do some that include more than one photo so watch this space,

The page is 12 x 12 and the card is 5 x 5

Friends

I love over stamping so this little number was chronology papers over stamped with vintage notes and the freebie stamps from the magazine.
I finished it off with a few clock bits that I cut from white card and inked they did look a lot darker in real life.
The heart was from the vintage notes decoupage pack with a bit of chronology metal wear,

Wish I could draw.

My favorite layout once again. I used vintage notes papers and some of the spots and strips. Lots of matting and layering a handmade flower and a just to say topper.
I tried to do a freehand florish but it was a total failure never mind better luck next time.

Steam train

Love Chronology and this page was a combination of the one on www.bespokecardsandmore.com  and the Steam fair an earlier post.
The edge was  stamped with the Looking glass stamp from the Chronology range using chocolate ink. I then over stamped with the freebie stamp from Creativity.
The circle was cut from the card using the circle shape cutter. I the put a piece of black onto the back of the page.
Re cut the circle smaller and stuck it back into the space.
This created a section to do my journaling on.
I covered the join with clock pieces from Chronology - Pocket Watch and a balloon from build a scene vintage  hot air  balloon. i added a few bits of metal wear again from the Chronology range.
The title was some alphabet stickers that I coloured brown and then mounted onto kraft card.
I then cut these into small scrabble size tiles.

Love is all around us

Hope you all received lots of lovely Valentines day cards yesterday.
This card was made using the Vintage notes filigree heart die,  textured card stock, just to say toppers and sentiment and Vintage notes woven fabric tape.
I did find that it helps to use either silicone paper or warburtons bread wrapper to help the dies release.
The flower vase was glased with Anita's 3D gloss. I finished the heart off with some gems.

See you tomorrow thanks for popping by.

Build a scene

Oh these are fantastic dies.
I'm still using these as complete sets but will be mixing them up I think.
I did cut a balloon from the balloon set and placed this low behind the landmarks.
I cut the scene in white and then lightly inked the edges to make it stand out.
Matted and layered it onto crisp white black and blue.

Love

Taking photos at a demo isn't always easy so I'm sorry if they arn't that good.
"Vintage note" is lovely and this simple little card uses the papers and decoupage.
I team my papers with "Papermania" textured card stock.
 This comes in A5, A4, 8 x 8 and 12 x 12  you get 75 different colurs in a pack.
Remember to make it go further gut it as much as you can.

This card used "vintage notes" papers and decoupage.

Here it is again

As I said yesterday I use this layout alot, again this one uses "spots and strips" but is a simple
 8 x 8 layout.
It took 15 mins and leaves a lot of scope for you to take it to the next level.

Spots and srtip

Circles everywhere.
I love this layout and you will see I have used it in a lot of my samples cards and scrapbook.
I have used "spots and strips" in this one and a couple of handmade flowers.
The topper was from "Vintage notes"

Steam fair

This may be my last ever post if my son finds out I have put this page on here.
I really like the "Chronology" range this work great with our visit to the Dorset steam fair.
I used textured card and stamp the edge in chocolate. I then used the freebie stamp from the magazine and black ink and randomly stamped over the cogs. I matted the photo onto card stock as I'm not sure if the card board box I ripped up was acid free.
The other elements were made using dies which I distressed.

Proud to be british

2012 was such a great year and I wanted to incorporate into my page.
So I used "portabello rd" a great range for all those 2012 pages. I used the "build a scene set" and cut the London scene in shades of blue.
The Proud to be British was cut using the "Xcut" alphabet die.
This one has little holes in the letters so I stuck tons of gems to represent the diamond jubilee.
The Olympic rings were cut using a circular die.
You can't see the rub ons very well but they said "Inspire a generation"

Just to say

This is my favorite card from the present loop.
As you know I love the kraft card so I teamed this up with some cream card and papers from the "spots and strips collection".
This paper is double sided and the strip  used was from the same sheet
I stamped a sentiment from "vintage notes" and used a decoupage that I had left over from "just to say" .
I tied a bow and stuck that to the card with silicone glue and finished it off with a "vintage notes" decorative pin.

It's been a week

So it's Sunday if I have scheduled this post correctly. And I have posted everyday.
Easy if you plan ahead!!!! I think not.

This is the last of my samples so hopefully I got some good photos yesterday for the coming week.
this card uses the vintage notes collection.
Note to self take some photos of spots and stripes.
The centre section is one of the journalling tags and the rose is from the decoupage pack although there is not decoupage nvolved.
I shaped the flower and stuck it to the card using silicone to give it that dimension.
The blitters at the top were one I found in the bottom of my embellishment box.

Double the heart

Love this die. It is so pretty.
I used double sided paper for the heart after cutting it I decided  that the waste was very pretty so I trimmed the paper and matted and layered it a couple of times gutting each piece as I went.
I finished it off with a crochet flower, button and a piece of bakers twine a sentiment and a few domed gems.

Vintage notes

This is my eclectic moment. The photo doesn't do it any favours.
The base card is kraft which really works well with the vintage notes collection.
I did a bit of stamping on the card and then layered up papers, sentiments and buttons.
I added a pleated strip and a crochet flower for a bit of texture.

See you tomorrow.
